I downloaded the Ultimate version and I am happy to find what I was looking for a long time.
I have checked that the terms of the GPL are respected, for me there is no problem. All the softwares are available in the original state without modification.
It is true that this is not an open source project but I do not see anything illegal here.
The email address is required to activate the automatic update but it is possible to update these manualy without email.
It is sad to reject this project for false reasons.

Tried it. Like it. Used it to fix Windows XP when OS tools would not. Laptop much faster now. Each application is a topic in itself. The automatic update is really convenient. On a 2gb Samsung Pleomax USB drive the speed of operation and reliable behavior is really excellent. Even radio preferences and browser settings are portable. So tell me what is the big deal about U3 drives? What can they do that can't be done with a good flash drive and LiberKey?

The only problem is that LiberKey is closed source, forces you to register to do updates, violates the GPL and other open source licenses and trademark law.

Actually I have no idea why the other comments aren't showing up. They just aren't. They are listed in Disqus but not showing up here. I did not actively delete your comments.

Anyway MSRT is just there. Get Malwarebytes too if you want it. Even Microsoft says that MSRT is not a replacement for anti-virus software (or anti-malware). I don't have a high regard for any of the anti-malware programs personally.

Guys, in all my tests;
Malwarebytes is 100% more effective in killing spyware. I have written manuals on it.
The admin of this site is deleting my harmless comments. This is not how you will generate more traffic to the site, This will only let people know how closed minded you are.

Ordered for Valentine's Day delivery. It was on a Saturday. Paid extra for Saturday delivery. They delivered if on Friday - spoiling the whole thing. e-mailed them about it and requested in the LEAST they not charge for Saturday delivery. They agreed. Period. No offer of compensation for their screw-up - even after I suggested it seemed appropriate. We're finished

I had it failing about 50% of the time on restoring the data to the new machine.

It would just say FAIL when unpacking the transfer file.

There was a message on their forum about running CCCleaner, which did nothing to fix the problem. I finally figured out that if I took the .ZIP transfer file (in this case around 900MB), unzip it with another utility (even XP's built-in one) and take some of the files out, it would transfer. I think there is something broken with the decompression library they use.

At the repair shop I worked at, we'd usually make one, sometimes two backups of the system. The first is the clean system with drivers; the second is the clean system with all of their programs. Since most of our customers only came to our shop for repairing (The only competition is radioshack, but we had the advantage of having better customer service), we'd just toss the backups into the case. That way, the next time they had trouble, we'd know exactly where the discs were.

Before I left, I set up a backup hard drive for our most frequent customers. It contained backups of all of their systems, in a truecrypt partition. When you work in a small town and actually lower your prices for repeat customers, people keep coming back for basically anything. Half the time I was buying things for the customers and charging a small fee for it - the way they saw it, they would save money because they wouldn't have ever bought the wrong thing!

I use modified XP install cds/dvds that use WPI, that slipstream all the latest service packs/fixes from MS, plus auto-installs as much software as you want, so when you first boot into your fresh system, it already has AV, anti-spyware, etc installed. Highly recommended.

THANK YOU!!! I used Launchy 1 for a long time and loved it. So I installed Launchy 2.1.2 (and 2.0 before) after uninstall of Launchy 1, but it always terminated after a few minutes without any reason.

I tried your reommendation .. and now IT WORKS!!!! In my situation, the usage of CCleaner was it.
